I will be forever grateful to Amy Christle, (the founder and owner of Donna’s house), and the entire staff. While my daughter resided there, she was treated with compassion and respect. At Donna’s house, each resident is treated as an individual. While the staff can be firm when it’s necessary, they also reward sobriety and reliability by allowing independence and freedom to grow as it is earned. Today my daughter remains sober. She is a productive, hard working member of our society. From the bottom of my heart I’d like to thank everyone at Donna’s House for helping my daughter to become the person she is today.

I stayed at Donna’s House for a few months after I got out of a 90 day treatment program. I firmly believe that if it wasn’t for Donna’s House i don’t know if i would have been able to stay clean and sober. The transition from the safety of rehab to being on your own again is scary. You have all this fear about slipping up and wondering if you are going to be to handle all the responsibilities of life. I am so grateful that the people at Donna’s house helped me with this transition. They encouraged us to get jobs, go to outpatient treatment, or go back to school as well as attend 12 step meetings. The house manager was so loving and caring but firm when it came to the rules being followed. It was exactly what I needed. Today, I have 18 months clean and sober, I still work at the same job I got while living at Donna’s house where I have now gotten 2 promotions, and I am currently going back to school. None if this would have been possible without the help from the wonderful people at Donna’s House. Whether you are just getting out of treatment or you need a safe enivornment that encourages growth while teaching you valuable tools to stay clean and sober, Donna’s House is the way to go. I can’t thank them enough for all their help.

What a great place! I lived there for a year and three months. Donna’s House is a premier property located in Dana Point, CA. It provivded appropriate supervision and all the support I needed to get my life back on track. There is great on-site managerial staff. I found Donna’s House a safe and secure sober living house. After coming out of very strict program, I was looking for some place that was parole approved and could offer me some of the benefits of sobriety. The atmosphere and location of the house gave me feelings of belonging I hadn’t had in a long time. There are an endless amount of 12-step meetings in the area, and there is even a meting at the house, which is optional. My fellow roommates were respectful and supportive, and the co-ed factor makes things more interesting. It seemed there was always someone to talk to, yet plenty of privacy. Donna’s House really worked for me.
